4 Sweet Spots for Dessert in Cottonwood, AZ

Enjoy some sweet desserts like cake, cookies, or ice cream at these local Cottonwood sweet spots!

If you are looking for some sugar confections, we understand how you feel. Who does not love tasty treats that tantalize the tongue? We have found four sweet spots for dessert in Cottonwood, AZ.

1. Romero’s Panaderia

Located at 304 N. 15th Street, Romero’s Panaderia in Cottonwood is considered a hidden gem in the bakery world. Hours of operation are from 5 AM to 2 PM every day, except for Sunday. We love the sweet empanadas in blueberry and lemon. Apple and pineapple empanadas are also offered, as are a variety of pastries.

Besides traditional sweet treats, Romero’s offers burritos, jalapeno stuffed bread, and sandwiches. This Mexican bakery has a few tables and chairs set up outside if you desire to eat there.

2. Safeway Bakery

If you have cookies on your mind, Safeway Bakery has butter cookies with sprinkles that melt in your mouth. You will also find Ghiradelli chocolate chip cookies, frosted sugar cookies, oatmeal cookies, and a wide variety of other choices. Fruit topped mousse cake is a favorite of many, as is German chocolate or carrot cake.

At this bakery, cheesecake bars, fresh fruit flower tarts, chocolate cream pies, custard-filled eclairs, brownies, Brookies, ice cream cakes, muffins, and donuts can be found within.  Located at 1635 E. Cottonwood Lane, this shop is open every day from 7 AM to 7 PM.

3. Crema Craft Kitchen

If you are looking for a restaurant that serves up the best confectionaries, consider Cream Craft Kitchen. Located at 917 N. Main Street in Historic Old Town, this cafe is open daily from 7 AM to 2 PM but has a walk-up window that is open until 3 PM for drinks and pastries. Scones, giant cinnamon rolls, muffins, biscotti, and giant cookies can be found on the sweet menu.

Crema Craft has its own creamery, so the gelato and sorbet are made fresh. Classic flavors, as well as unique ones, are made in small batches to ensure quality. Flavors come and go with the seasons. Feel free to enjoy a beverage alongside your treat. You will find bottomless coffee, a full espresso bar, bottled water, hot tea, hot chocolate, lemonade, juice, and more.

4. Bing’s Burger Station

If you have a hankering for a real ice cream milkshake, head over to Bing’s Burger Station. Located at 794 N. Main Street, malts, root beer floats, ice cream sandwiches, Neopolitan banana splits, vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream are all on the menu.

Bing’s is open Wednesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 8 PM, Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 8 PM.

No matter what sweet you are thinking about, any of these four spots will take care of that craving. Stop at Romero’s for a fruit empanada with a friend, or run into Safeway for a delicious mousse cake. Crema is perfect for a day out with good friends, and Bing’s is an excellent place to take the kids.
